ACtivities

Live Game Development

Assisted in problem solving and data analytics to which drivers needed improvement to feed and maintain WildStar’s user funnel. Managed PvP and group PvE teams to produce content for multiple live game updates.

Responsible for full project scope, schedule, and P&L for WildStar China. Coordinated with the WildStar live team to integrate development milestones into the live game roadmap. Owned several improvement initiatives which were aimed at improving retention and engagement globally.

F2P Business Conversion

Owned business model conversion, store, and MTX feature development for WildStar’s F2P launch. Created the store launch catalog and worked with platform developers to transition existing subscription players into a signature benefit system. Identified, goalset, prioritized, scheduled, and analyzed monetization features and events. Drove design and schedule for Madame Fay’s Fortune (gacha) updates, weekly sales, promotions on Steam, and bundle releases.

Feature Owner

Concepted and designed systems for player vs. player, launch business model, and various other features intended for live game deployment. Acted as an accountable individual (product owner) to be responsible for and direct feature quality against defined KPI driven goals. Tracked feature’s performance post launch and directed iterative improvement as needed.

PAST WORK

C.R.E.D.D.

Designed and provided implementation support for WildStar’s C.R.E.D.D. system – where players could exchange a 30-day game time item (purchased with real money) for in-game currency through a player driven market. Collaborated with platform, engineering, UI, BI, and QA teams to completely develop and test the feature within a month before WildStar’s launch. Established revenue recognition with C.R.E.D.D. on trade transaction to allow WildStar to recoup revenue if item was never triggered to engage subscription/signature benefits.

WildStar PvP

Led and drove both design and development of all PvP systems within WildStar, including: Prestige (PvP Currency & Rewards), Ratings (ELO Matching), Open World PvP, Realm Rulesets, Group Finder, Dueling, Warplots, Arenas, and Battlegrounds. Coordinated efforts between teams, in concert with production staff, to schedule an asset pipeline to support PvP maps, UI requirements, and rewards.
